Free Speech Radio News editors declined a story from Ohio reporter Evan Davis because of his involvement in organizing a large rally in support of the re-count. They felt it was a conflict of interest for him to both organize the rally and to feature it in a news report. They assigned the story instead to a novice reporter with un-developed technical skills who wasn't in Ohio and constructed her story entirely around phone interviews. FSRN has since run a related story from Evan, without mention of the rally.
