Listen to an interview with Tatiana Gomez, a Montreal activist currently in Colombia as part of an international delegation with the Projet Accompagnement Solidarité Colombie.
A Quebec-Ontario delegation is now in Colombia, in the region of Lower Atrato, department of Choco, in order to witness the illegal and illegitimate character of African palm plantations in areas recognized by Bill 70 of the Colombian legislation as Afro-Colombian ancestral territories. The Canadian delegation has joined an international delegation including NGOs from Germany, Spain and the United States, to proceed to a pacific occupation of the illegal plantations.

We spoke with Tatiana Gomez, a Montreal-based activist and member of the PASC, Projet Accompagnement Solidarité Colombie, about her groups recent efforts to bear witness to land expropriations.
