11 out of 13 communities in the Sipakapa voted NO to Glamis Gold mining. They're going ahead anyway.
Juan Tema, a Mayan-Sipakapense man from the Guatemalan community of Sipakapa, and Carlos Amador, a campesino leader from the Valle de Siria, Honduras, are in Toronto, May 2-4. They will give public presentations and participate in a peaceful gathering at the annual shareholder's meeting of the Glamis Gold Inc. mining company, Fairmont Royal York Hotel, May 3rd.
