The Two Degrees Show brings you an extended seasonal special. Award winning journalist George Monbiot is the author of a number of best-selling books and in 1995 he was presented with a UN Global 500 Award for outstanding environmental achievement by Nelson Mandela. With his latest book, "Heat: How to Stop the Planet Burning" (Penguin/Allen Lane) George turns his attention to the world's most serious and urgent challenge. George has devised a plan of action which would enable the UK to meet the highly ambitious target of 90% CO2 reductions by 2030 which he calculates we need.
