TWO WEEKS AGO ON JANUARY 13 AND 14, SIX MEMBERS OF CODE PINK WENT DOWN TO MIAMI TO CONDUCT SEVERAL ACTIONS. ONE OF THESE WAS SUPPOSED TO TAKE PLASE IN FRONT OF THE VERSAILLES A RESTAURANT IN SOUTHERN MIAMI POPULAR WITH CUBAN EXILES. THE CONFRONTATION MADE THE NATIONAL NEWS AS THEY APPARENTLY NARROWLY ESCAPED BEING HARMED BY A RIOTING CROWD OF ANTI-CASTRO PROTESTORS. THIS PAST THURSDAY, WBAI FRED NGUYEN CALLED LONG TIME CODEPINK MEMBER TIGHE BARRY IN LOS ANGELES TO FIND OUT THE REASON FOR THE ACTION AND WHAT EXACTLY HAD HAPPENED:
