May 23 -- Protesters gathered in front of Premier Jean Charest's office in downtown Montreal today in solidarity with the people of Barriere Lake. Algonquin people from this aboriginal community, located about six hours North-West of Montreal, travelled to Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa in May, demanding fair treatment from the governments of Canada and the Province of Quebec.
