**The interview is self-contained, with an intro and extro**
It was back in 1968 that Johnny Cash performed his famous concert inside Folsom Prison in California.
Almost 40 years later in the same prison, Michael Franti and Spearhead played another concert. That concert was broadcast on community stations across the United States back in 2005.
Cheri Snook produces an Alaskan music show at a KVMR, a community radio station not far from Folsom Prison.
Stark Raven interviews Cheri about her work organizing the Franti concert and about her work connecting the inside and outside through music and poetry.
Also features highlights from the concert, including music from Michael Franti and Spearhead and an interview and performance by musician and lifer, Marty Williams.
