Strange Musical Inputs, Sound Montage & Politically Charged Shards of Chaff
40 Acres & A Clone Mule is a weekly music and sound montage show with a strong political bent. It is heard on KUOI-FM in Moscow, Idaho Fridays from approx. 3:40 pm to 6 pm PT, and can be heard live on the web (www.kuoi.com). This show is FCC safe for daytime under current rules. All station ID's, time references and weather has been creatively excised.
The title 40 Acres & A Clone Mule refers to the first ever cloning of a mule, which was announced to have happened on the University of Idaho campus the week before this program began in 2003. In this context, 40 Acres is a metaphor for the 2+ hour time slot that comes with a very wide latitude for audio expression.
