As we approach the end of the decade,we also face a changing of the guard in the nostalgia music for the generation that will be coming of age (20 somethings) in the next decade. I did a show about a year ago focusing on the 90's and explaining how it will be the new "retro" music in a couple of years and by doing these '90's retrospective shows I will be putting myself on the vanguard (that's right, the VANGUARD!) of this next wave and by doing so,hopefully have some influence in the direction this wave goes because as I mentioned in last years show,we don't want to have another fiasco like we did when disco came back in the mid 90's as that decades "retro" music. Just doin' my job.
