Dr Caldicott's guest on the program today is Dan Hirsch, President of the Committee to Bridge the Gap, a public interest organization focused on nuclear matters.

Dan played significant roles in shutting down the Hanford N-reactor and with it, U.S. plutonium production; the Dept. of Energy Santa Susana Field Laboratory, site of a partial reactor meltdown; and the UCLA reactor. He also teaches Nuclear Policy at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
