We'll be speaking with Ruth Wilson Gilmore, Professor at the City University of New York Graduate Center and one of the founding members of many anti-prisons groups in the US, such as the well-known Critical Resistance. She is presently in Toronto and will be giving a talk there later today titled; "Gender Respoisve" Prison Expansion, or Notes on a Rout and Hope for Route. Among other things, we'll be asking Ms. Gilmore her critique on Gender Responsive incarceration policies.
