Dans les jours qui viennent, il reste très important de suivre de près la situation de Ivan Sancho, déporté du Canada vers l'Espagne en 2008, tout en maintenant la pression sur les autorités canadiennes et espagnoles afin qu'elles assurent sa sécurité en détention. Le Canada est responsable des conséquences de la déportation d'Ivan. Le comité de soutien est en contact étroit avec les avocats et la famille d'Ivan au pays Basque.
