The mantra of the Occupy movement is the 99% VS the 1%. Although on the surface this statement seems to encapsulate the issue of income inequity to some the statement is shallow. Globally most of the occupiers are in fact part of the global 1%. There has been a movement to decolonize and re-occupy the occupy movement to encapsulate the global 99%. How can the occupy movement address this and build solidarity with the global 99%?
