In Maxims for Revolutionists from the play Man and Superman, George Bernard Shaw wrote: "Do not waste your time on Social Questions. What is the matter with the poor is Poverty what is the matter with the rich is Uselessness." Shaw is the subject of the 2012 Master Playwright Festival in Winnipeg. Leonard Conolly is the president of the International Shaw Society, author of The Shaw Festival: The First Fifty Years and an English professor at Trent University. He was in Winnipeg for the opening of Shaw Fest 2012.
