Borrowing from Martin's Kaputt montage on Haliburton and the Iraq Rip-off scam, this show goes all over the place. From speed of light underground hip hop to mind scraping noise core, and quite a bit in between. Really exciting. It's shows like this that keep me doing the mule show.
40 Acres & A Clone Mule is a weekly music and sound montage show with a strong political bent. It is heard on KUOI-FM in Moscow, Idaho Fridays from approx. 4-6 lately (however, some weeks 3:30 - 6pm so tune in early) Pacific Time, and can be heard live on the web (www.kuoi.com).
My New Year's resolution is to post a show every week during 2012. They'll either be classic shows from 2011 or before, or up to date shows referencing current events. Mostly about the intersection of music and socially-relevant sound montage.
Show lengths will be approx. 1 hr, 50 min. or approx. 2 hrs, 10 min., depending on the lead-in show when originally broadcast. FCC safe, but probably work well as late night listening. I hope some stations decide to pick it up.
