Patrick Owens, from Clearpoint Credit Counseling Solutions – a licensed and reputable agency – explains what services a consumer credit counseling agency offers to help people get out of debt, and the rules they must follow. And during this week’s News You Can Use, we explain why the much ballyhooed national mortgage settlement is not a settlement at all.
