Lots of rockin' tunes and space-noise freakouts. A little bit of politics too, as usual.
lots of musicians
Between 1:45 & 2:10 of Part 1, Eugene Chadbourne sings "Big John Loves His Dick," and it's apparent 2 lines later he singing about John's love for Dick Nixon, so any thoughts of that it's FCC indecent should be banished.
Note that Part 2 of the last show, called "Chronic Bald Gemini Tribe" was replaced on March 18th because of an inadvertent station ID in the first upload. You might want to re-download it.
40 Acres & A Clone Mule is a weekly music and sound montage show with a strong political bent. It is heard on KUOI-FM in Moscow, Idaho Fridays from approx. 4-6 pm (some weeks 3:30 - 6pm so tune in early) Pacific Time, and can be heard live on the web (www.kuoi.org).
All station ID's, Weather & Local Announcements have been scrubbed or otherwise artistically obliterated.
My New Year's resolution is to post a show every week during 2012. They'll either be classic shows from 2011 or before, or up to date shows referencing current events. Mostly about the intersection of music and socially-relevant sound montage.
Show lengths will be approx. 1 hr, 50 min. or approx. 2 hrs, 10 min., depending on the lead-in show when originally broadcast. FCC safe, but probably work well as late night listening. I hope some stations decide to pick it up.
