Hold on to your hardhats, your three rolls of toilet paper. Another adventure in sound.
This show is considered FCC safe, however it contains the Frank Zappa song "Ride My Face to Chicago," which contains lyrics that include the song title and little else. The Song is 59:01 - 1:03:20 during Part 1. Your Program Director may feel differently about the appropriateness of broadcasting that song, but I think it's great!
Sorry about missing another week. Nonetheless this show is a pretty good rambunctious romp through various genres.
40 Acres & A Clone Mule is a weekly music and sound montage show with a strong political bent. It is heard on KUOI-FM in Moscow, Idaho Fridays from approx. 4-6 pm (some weeks 3:30 - 6pm so tune in early) Pacific Time, and can be heard live on the web (www.kuoi.org).
All station ID's, Weather & Local Announcements have been scrubbed or otherwise artistically obliterated.
My New Year's resolution is to post a show every week during 2012. They'll either be classic shows from 2011 or before, or up to date shows referencing current events. Mostly about the intersection of music and socially-relevant sound montage.
Show lengths will be approx. 1 hr, 50 min. or approx. 2 hrs, 10 min., depending on the lead-in show when originally broadcast. FCC safe, but probably work well as late night listening. I hope some stations decide to pick it up.
