Jaggi Singh travelled to Israel on December 14 and entered the West Bank on December 20, in defiance of an Israeli court ruling that allowed him to enter Israel on the condition that he not enter the Occupied Territories. He was also ordered to leave Israel by December 23.

On January 1, CKLN spoke to him in Nablus, about some of the specific work he has done with the International Solidarity Movement, and also about general impressions of life under occupation, the significance of day-to-day resistance and the struggle for dignity, and the relationship between Palestinian self-determination and struggles among other colonized peoples.
