The City of Winnipeg is updating its housing policy, the first time since 1999. However, there are limited opportunities for citizens to participate in the review. The Social Planning Council of Winnipeg has suggestions for the City on how to address the shortage of affordable housing and the issue of homelessness. Christina Maes Nino, policy analyst with the SPCW and co-author of Winnipeg Street Health Report 2011, talks to Mud and Water.
