Selections from the recent film documentary. Political analyst Nafeez Mossadeq Ahmed discusses the 7 interconnected global crises we are undergoing. This week we'll focus on economic instabiliy and terrorism. Old film clips brighten the thoughtful commentary. Of particular interest: how (and why) the invasion of Afghanistan was planned well before 9-11-2001.
"New World Notes" is produced under the auspices (Latin for "radar") of WWUH-FM, a community service of that beacon of light in darkest Connecticut, the University of Hartford.
Next week: militarization and destruction of civil liberties ... plus an article by Bruce Dixon. (We'll skip over the remaining three crises for now: climate change, peak energy, and food production & distribution.)

For written commentary, photos & other graphics, videos, great links, and an archive of past installments, please see this show's Web site: http://newworldnotes.blogspot.com.
