Poet, writer, commentator, activist, educator and University Distinguished Professor at Virginia Tech, Nikki Giovanni, discusses the past, present and future of the civil rights movement at a benefit for legal aid held on September 13, 2012 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Historic Jackson Ward in Richmond. And during this week’s “News You Can Use,” we’ll tell you about the claim forms going out to about 46,600 Virginians as part of the national mortgage settlement.
