The unemployment and underemployment rate among young workers is about twice that of older workers – and it’s getting worse. A new report looks at the long-term effects of this trend. Karen Foster is a research associate with the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives and a post-doctoral fellow at St. Mary’s University in Halifax.
