A far-reaching study in five cities across Canada is looking at what strategies are most effective for stabilizing the lives of homeless people with mental illness. Funding for the project will run out in six months and there has been no sign from the federal government that there will be an extension. Psychologist Julian Somers is lead investigator on the Vancouver team.
