The idea that wealthy people should pay a much higher percentage of their income in tax sounds pretty radical these days. But a new report says it’s an important way to make taxes more fair. Iglika Ivanova is one of the authors of the report Fairness by Design. She details some of the other ways to reform the tax system to benefit Canadians as a whole. Ivanova is an economist and public interest researcher at the B.C. office of the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives.
