A key organizer of the picket against the Pidgin restaurant in Vancouver’s downtown eastside launched a new action more than 3 weeks ago to back demands for adequate social housing in the area. In this interview, the artist formerly known as Homeless Dave explains why he started the picket and the hunger strike. It recorded by Redeye's Peter Driftmier in conjunction with the Downtown Eastside Right to Food Zine.
