Documentary producer and author William Ramsey is about to come out with yet another book: “Children of the Beast.” In what Ramsey states is his last work on Aleister Crowley, “Children of the Beast” examines a great many high-profile personages—from backgrounds as varied as government, sociology, religion and rock and roll—who were either overt disciples of Crowley or, at the least, heavily influenced by him.
“Children of the Beast” is divided into four parts: 1) Introduction to Aleister Crowley, his life, core concepts, doctrines and ideology; 2) From the foot of the Master: Disciples who knew Crowley; 3) Carrying the torch of Crowley’s world revolution; 4) They walk among us: Modern disciples of the Beast.
A small sampling of the individuals found in “Children of the Beast” includes Jack Parsons, Ian Fleming, L. Ron Hubbard, Alfred Kinsey, Arthur C. Clarke, Jimmy Page, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Marylyn Manson, J.K. Rowling and Anton LaVey.
