Arnold August has an MA in political science from McGill University. He is an author, journalist and lecturer living in Montreal. He is the author of Democracy in Cuba and the 1997 "98 Elections (Editorial Jos Mart ) He speaks to Sylvia about his most recent book, "Cuba and Its Neighbours: Democracy in Motion"
He compares and contrasts democracy in the USA vs Latin America and speaks of participatory democracy.
