Carl Dix talks with us about the outrageous decision by St. Louis County Grand Jury to let the cop who murdered Michael Brown, a Black youth, in Ferguson Missouri last summer walk out unindicted and free. Dix also discusses the only appropriate response to this outrage in Ferguson and across the country. Travis Morales discusses the new immigration policy which Obama, who has presided over record numbers of deportations -- far more than any previous president -- announced on Thursday November 20. John Deans, Arctic Campaigner for Greenpeace, talks about the danger of drilling for oil in the Arctic and the need to stop it. A recent report from the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) declared that there is a 75% chance of a large oil spill in the Arctic if oil companies are allowed to drill for oil. Such an oil spill would be almost impossible to clean up. It would impact species and an ecosystem already under tremendous stress from climate change -- climate change caused by burning oil and other fossil fuels.
