Flying Vet Maurice Kirk is no sooner out of prison, after miscarriages of justice in South Wales, than he is heading off in his Piper Cub for South Africa making a bid to cross the South Atlantic for the Falkland Islands. Before he leaves though he gives us an idea of conditions and dangers inside modern British prisons. And tells us how he, a vet, was asked by his wife, Josephine, to stitch up one of Guernseys most famous residents, the actor Oliver Reed.
