Phil Taylor summaries Stephen Gowans recent articles re North/South Korea/USA latest controversy, the downside of procedural democracy and why Cuba has limited access to the Internet. Gowans' very interesting and facts-on-the-table with great analysis interview is second half of show.
Roy Jones, former world-champion boxer, visited with Putin in the Crimea and asked Putin for a passport for the purpose of doing business. Phil gives a very intriguing account of that visit and continues with wide range of boxing facts --from Roy Jones' accomplishments to Benny Leonard, greatest lightweight fighter who was a master of "ring generalship" --gaining control of the ring via boxing without throwing a punch, which throws the other boxer off when he cannot land a punch. Phil Conlon makes a very apt political analogy comparing President Putin to a "ring general," especially in UN negotiations. Taylor elaborates on that analogy.
