Our feature presentation this morning is our interview with Palestinian activist Bassem Tamimi, who recently came to the Boston area to speak about the Palestinian resistance to occupation, particularly as it relates to the systematic resistance of his village of Nabi Saleh. Both he and several members of his family have faced imprisonment, and some have lost their lives in their resistance to the Israeli occupation.
Whenever possible we try to feature the Palestinian voice, which seldom is included in the daily coverage of the events in Palestine/Israel. One of those voices is our friend and colleague, journalist, Samer Jaber who writes out of Bethlehem.
