When they label the governments of Syria and Venezuela as dictatorships, or “regimes”, Western media are strictly following without deviation the labels that have been applied by the US and its allies of western Europe.

Both President Maduro and President Assad lead democratic systems and enjoy popular support but the imperialist powers insist on lying about this reality because their goal is the removal (regime change) of governments which insist on protecting sovereignty and refuse to follow US dictat.
