Over recent months there have been attempts to use sabotage and assassination, organized in Rwanda and Europe, to destabilize Burundi. But because Burundians have learned the lessons of recent history, the country is more united than any time before. Lebani Tazira points out that the army and the police are much more professional than the past and the people, who have not fallen into ethnic division, are more confident.
