Introduced by her brother, author and independent journalist David Goodman, Amy speaks on the role of independent journalism in this time of increased threats to freedom of the press and the importance of truly independent media to hold those in power accountable.

In telling the stories from the street, of the people under attack and fighting back at this crucial time, when we face so many threats to our humanity and society from climate disaster, war, militarism and corporations singularly focused for profit, she weaves together a message of resistance that "we can be better than that." She comments on how events reported by independent media are effecting people in positions of authority such that they too are challenging the injustice being normalized by the Trump regime.
