Phil interviews Vancouver's John Turnbull, captain of the Swedish vessel "Freedom," the second Gaza Freedom Flotilla boat of 2018 to be illegally seized on the high seas by the Israeli navy.

Captain Turnbull participated in the flotilla to demonstrate to the governments of Europe and Canada the illegality and immorality of the blockade. He describes the value of ports, and notes that Gaza's is the only closed port in the Mediterranean.

Turnbull indicated that he has received no interview requests from the Globe + Mail, the Toronto Star, or other 'mainstream' outlets.

He also recounts the proud history of the flotilla, involving his own family.
