Them Trumps is a forgotten SNL skit from the Trump years, I laughed heartily when I first watched them and then again everytime I watched them afterwards. How sad the state of comedy is that this brilliant sketch wasn’t utilized more. That said, it was the perfect set-up for a podcast episode asking and answering the question, “would if those who did (this thing) were black”. No description besides this point is required however I will add this episode does not dive deeply into these answers but skims over them to give the listener a basic overview of what most people instinctively know, if so-and-so were black the ends would be violent and bloody.
Music Used in the opening, Curtis Mayfield’s Think, Brandy’s The Definition and Marvin Gaye’s Inner City Blues

Great news, this is not a Dilbert Episode! He was just the entry point I used to speak about some topics that I’ve had jostling around in my brainpan. The topic I am most passionate about is this notion of “Cancel Culture” and what the African Diaspora in America would do if that culture actually existed. I then flash by an often forgotten about Christian concept that is still taught in many Evangelical circles; the idea that Christians must populate the Earth with their kind, a calling many colonizing Europeans took to heart, resulting in an overproduction of their seeds, propping up their minority numbers for about 150 years before their birthrates began to settle back down to where they had been at for decades prior to their impartial endeavors. The second topic I speak about that ignites my passions is, answering the question what is Racism or at least some aspects to it and how is reverse racism different than Racism? Be prepared listener, this episode is fiery and stuffed with information – sorry for the energy inside it, I was feeling the Ancestral flow deeply on this day.

WINGS #50-22 Iraq Invasion +20
March 25, 2023, 5:40 p.m.
Yanar Mohammed is co-founder and Chair of the Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq. Founded in 2003, OWFI provides shelters, schools, jobs, a newspaper and radio programs to help and strengthen women in Iraq and advocate for their rights. Marge May of community radio WERU-FM interviewed Yanar in 2005. On returning to Iraq in 2003 after years in Canada, Yanar was shocked by the massive infrastructure destruction, impunity for murderers of women, and a US-imposed political system that gave power to male leaders of sects and factions and had no room for women's secular issues or representation. For more on OWFI today, visit owfiraq.org.

Holly Arnold: Converting Offices To Homes
March 25, 2023, 1:15 a.m.
Remember office buildings? They were places people used to go in order to work. Since the pandemic, though, vast numbers of office spaces have been abandoned. Have you ever found yourself musing, “it’s a shame they can’t do something with all of these empty buildings?” This week’s guest on Sea Change Radio has put a lot of thought into that very quandary. Holly Arnold, an architect with Gensler, a global architectural, design and planning firm, joins us to discuss the conversion of commercial real estate buildings into residential housing units. We look at what it takes to transform office space into living space, the opportunities it presents for the underhoused and those experiencing homelessness, and the complications and challenges involved in transforming the face of financial districts around the planet.

Swanee Hunt– "Women Waging Peace"
March 24, 2023, 4:35 a.m.
Posted on February 15th, 2005 in Politics,World Culture by LeGov
This Was Not Our War: Bosnian Women Reclaiming the Peace
Women Waging Peace is a global policy-oriented initiative working to integrate women into the peace process. Swanee Hunt, a former United States Ambassador to the Austria, founded it. Swanee Hunt is also the author of “This Was Not Our War; Bosnian Women Reclaiming the Peace.” She interviewed twenty-six Bosnian women who are reconstructing their society in the years following the devastating war in their country. These women describe what it was like living in a vibrant multicultural community that suddenly imploded in an onslaught of violence. They relate the chaos; the atrocities, the rapes of neighbors and friends, their efforts to care for children and elderly parents and to find food and clean drinking water. This interview with Ambassador Swanee Hunt was recorded from her home near Boston, Massachusetts in February 2005.
Swanee Hunt recommends “The Courage To Be,” by Paul Tillich.

IRAQ Twenty Years after “SHOCK AND AWE.” The Wealthy Prevail at the Expense of World Safety and Freedom
March 24, 2023, 12:26 a.m.
This episode of the Global Research News Hour marks the 20th anniversary of the Assault which marked a turning point for many Americans living the shame of the crusade supposedly for Weapons of Mass Destruction. Over the next hour, we will hear the voices of several individuals reflecting on the crimes of the past two decades toward the Iraqi people, and even to the people carrying out these acts of barbarism. And we will hear about the levels of skullduggery considered to keep the citizenry focused on the task of getting the premise for the war secured. We will evaluate the United Nations and the mainstream corporate media as not only compliant but as an accomplice in the enterprise. And we shall take a look at the legacy the orchestrators set for the US and it’s NATO Partners in the lead-up to the War on Ukraine, which at a time of escalation, China is now trying to negotiate a ceasefire and peace treaty.

Sonic Cafe #331/When The Glass Is Half Empty
March 23, 2023, 10:15 p.m.
Sonic Café with Radiohead from their controversial In Rainbows album. Controversial because it was self-released in 2007 as a pay-what-you-want download, which sent a shock through the music industry, which was largely praised by the media and other artists. So ahh yeah, welcome to the café, I’m Scott Clark and this is episode 331. This time the Sonic Café pulls our mix from 37 years or so. Listen for Audioslave, Bill Conti, Adrian Belew, and a great Badfinger tune from 1970. Listen for No Matter What You Are, near the bottom of the hour. Then we play two tunes at once in the first in our mash-ups series. We’ll spin a Jack White and Eurythimics mash-up of Seven Nation Army and Sweet Dreams. Oh and, Sebastian Maniscalco drops by to tell us how the move into his new house is going, in something we’re calling the glass is half empty. And finally a big shout out to Gregory Sword who enjoys the Sonic Café’s every Saturday on WSLR 96.5 FM in Sarasota, Florida. So thanks Greg, and thanks to the nice folks at WSLR. Hey, let us know where you’re listening by emailing me at Sonic Café Radio at gmail.com. So ahh let’s dive in. From 1979 this is Joy Division with Transmission, and as always, we’re the Sonic Café.
