Episode 2024.07.00. Marjorie Taylor Greene as the Canary in the Congress-Mine, The Success of the Power Memo is Complete

May 30, 2024, 11:34 p.m.
Class War Battlefield Podcast Episode 2024.07.00. Marjorie Taylor Greene as the Canary in the Congress-Mine, The Success of the Power Memo is Complete With Clips from Professional Left, Roland Martin Unfiltered, Long Now Foundation, People for DioGuardi Campaign Archives and RuBegonia I wish I were the first one to think up the topic which I use as a framing device in this episode, but I'm not. I heard the same argument on Roland Martin's 6 p.m. Show a night or two after MTG made herself into a living meme. The fact is, what we witnessed between Crockett and Greene is nothing that could not have been predicted. If you were a betting man 25 years ago, you would have seemed smart today if you'd predicted congress would be stalled and members would be arguing incoherently between one another; though, if you have placed that bet, most people would have told you you were crazy. Now, let me be very clear here, Crockett wasn't arguing nonsensically; but we have seen such arguments flare up from time to time. Recall the first House Speaker vote after the GOP won the house Majority for 2022. People were literally being held back to prevent physical violence from breaking out in the chamber. Sure, the culprits were GOP members, meaning the result if no one had been there, would have been some fine GOP on GOP action; but given what happened on January 6th, and the fact that Republican commentators often use thinly veiled violent comments to describe either the threat Democrats pose to Republican voters lives or what must be done to Democrats in order to save the world; how long do you think it'll take arguments to escalate into something more dramatic? Understand I am not gloating here, nor is this some sick fantasy of mine; I do not engage in fantasies of another U.S Civil War – unlike some GOP supporters I see what such a turn of events would result in; I'm just reading history and shuddering as one event presently leads to another event which in turn leads to another event and so on and so forth. Two “Convenient” Tragedies. Were High State Operatives Complicit in the Attack on Robert Fico and the Death of Ebrahim Raisi?

May 30, 2024, 4:05 p.m.
This week on the Global Research News Hour, we are examining the prospect that the deaths of Ebrahim Raisi of Iran and the near death of Robert Fico of Slovakia may have been high level assassination attacks by officials looking at containing an official threat. We first talk to Jeremy Kuzmarov of COVERT ACTION MAGAZINE about what is believed to be past assassination attacks by US operatives and some of the patterns that they have had in common. In our second half hour we speak to independent geopolitical and military analyst Drago Bosnic about his assessment of the suspected attacks of Mid-May as being decapitation strikes against enemies of US-NATO-Israel hegemony. Finally, Canadian physician and frequent Global Research contributor Dr. William Makis explains his recent video in which he suspects the case of Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico was intended to send a warning against those who oppose the WHO’s new proposed Pandemic Agreement.

Justifying Slaughter - How the Cult of Messianic Zionism Conqured the West

May 30, 2024, 1:42 a.m.
"Acclaimed author and researcher Thomas Suárez, a former West-Bank resident and faculty member of Palestine’s National Conservatory of Music, appeared at UMass-Amherst on April 16 to talk about the historical roots of Israel’s ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestine, the complicity of Western governments in manufacturing consent to the continuing horrors unfolding in Gaza and the West Bank, and what it will take to fundamentally transform Israel’s current apartheid policies and liberate the Palestinian people." His analysis of the myths that Zionists have created to shield their crimes, theft of Palestinian land and Jewish identity followed research he undertook after acquiring of a old document during one of his many visits to Palestine: a pamphlet published by the British Mandate Army on how to recognize and disarm booby traps. That lead him to the National Archives (TNA) of Britain and his book "State of Terror: How Terrorism Created Modern Israel". The documents found at PalDocs.net are but some of the source documents for his writings and analysis.

Episode 2023.AR.01. Article Reaction, The Privatization of Public Utilities Has One Major Upside

May 29, 2024, 12:32 a.m.
Class War Battlefield Podcast Episode 2023.AR.01. Article Reaction, The Privatization of Public Utilities Has One Major Upside With Clips from Jacobin Youtube Channel, The Australia Institute Youtube Channel, Robert Reich Youtube Channel, Chomsky's Philosophy, Kano, Adam Smith Institute Youtube Channel and New Economic Thinking Privatization is a pet peeve for me. Suffering through the constant arguments in support of more privatization of government services, bothers me to no end. The arguments, which are not new, have been trotted out so frequently over my lifespan that they are predictable. Starting with my personal favorite; “you know the government can't do anything beneficial for society, only big business can” and ending with my least favorite, “government is tyrannical when it stops the market from operating along liaise fair principles”; the use of any of these or the many other arguments bantered about, proves only one undeniable truth to me; the person using them or flinging them into the ether, is dumber than a road side rock – which is very disrespectful to the rock, so I take back my statement. Ripping apart the arguments for privatizing government is very enjoyable for, so to my surprise this article didn't entirely allow me to do that. I actually found myself in agreement with some aspects of it just not the entire premise it was using as it base. Privatization has been the cultural equivalent of a machine designed to take wealth from the poor and usher it to up to the top one percent. It strips common resources, specifically the institutions created in the public trust, from the public giving them over to private owners, thus allowing them to hoard the public's resources, selling them back to the public for a fee. How we have allowed this to happen is beyond me but it must be ended as a practice and the government must again be placed in the hands of the people. Ilan Pappe: The US has NO LIMITS when it comes to ISRAEL

May 28, 2024, 9:24 p.m.
Ilan Pappe is an Israeli historian and political scientist. He is now a professor with the College of Social Sciences and International Studies at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. His best known book is The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine. Based on declassified British and Israeli government documents, the book explains that the expulsions of Palestinians were executed based on a plan drawn up in 1947 by Israel's future leaders. Ilan Pappe left Israel in 2008 after being condemned in the Knesset. A minister of education had called for him to be sacked. Frank Barat, the French activist, author and film producer and long-time friend of Ilan Pappe spoke with Pappe on his podcast on May 26, 2024. This was within days of the missile launch into Israel, the International Criminal Court request for arrest warrants, and Pappe’s detention by the FBI when he arrived in Detroit for a speaking tour.
