So live music is so important and it is especially important in cities like Austin and New Orleans where it is part of the fabric of their community and a huge economic engine. I was all set to leave tomorrow for French Quarter Fest, but COVID killed those plans. So many local NOLA artists were set to play that festival and recharge their âbusinessâ but it will have to wait till spring.
And itâs not just the artists but the clubs, like Tipitinaâs, that are also struggling. I joined this killer record club â Tipitinaâs Record Club and it has been a win-win.
