At the time he was only 15 years old. Khadr is a Canadian citizen and is the only Western citizen still at Guantanamo Bay. On January 29/2010 a Canadian Supreme Court ruling stated that Khadr's human rights were being violated and that Canada was an active participant in this violation, but did not insist that the Canadian government repatriate Khadr back to Canada.
