As an Italian,I've always felt a certain kinship to the Irish. We're both fiercely passionate people. Unabashed and full of life and ready to celebrate it JOYFULLY at any given opportunity. We're both a people who lead with our hearts.
Or as Bruce Springsteen, who is half Italian (not only is he half Italian, but his grandfather was born in the same small town just outside of Naples that I was born,Vico Equense) so eloquently put it as he inducted U2 into the rock 'n roll hall of fame,"While the English occasionally have their refined sensibilities to overcome,we Irish and Italians have no such problem! We come through the door fists and hearts first!"
