INTRO -
Stefan Christoff is an activist, and journalist from Montreal, he is one of many people converging in Toronto this week to protest the G8 G20 summit. His work broadly supports the social movements working for the self determination of marginalized people – through this work he became involved with Tadamon, a collective in Montreal working in solidarity with Palestinians to support the movement for Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions against Israel, and most recently he participated in the Peoples International Observers Mission in the Philippines, monitoring the national elections there to ensure that the democratic process was respected.
He joined us to discuss some of his experiences, and illustrate how these seemingly disparate activities are linked. Stefan also shows how this work is reinforced by the organizing taking place in Toronto this week to oppose the G8 G20 summit.
