Activists from Britain and the United States joined the march despite concerns over security.

We will also be discussing Medea's newest book "Drone Warfare, Killing by Remote Control." "One of Medea's most disturbing revelations has to do with the explosive expansion of the drone Industry in just the past few years, to the point where fifty nations now posess the devices. "Drone Warfare" sketches the nighmarish possibilities posed by this insane proliferation. Not only can we expect drones to fall into the hands of "rogue" nations or terrorist groups; we should brace ourselves too, for the domestic use of surveillance drones and even armed drones at the Mexican border and possibly against American protestors." Barbara Ehrenreich And, we know drones are being handed out to local police departments around the country.

What about drone, robot and nano technology? There is tremendous effort by huge corporate powers in this direction and the technology is advancing very quickly. It has been suggested that our elections and such are simply diversions that keep us occupied while this very real and quite frightening technology advances.
