FUKUSHIMA: MEDICAL AND BIOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES

The second anniversary of the Fukushima Daichi nuclear meltdowns and detonations was commemorated with a two-day global conference at the New York Academy of Medicine. Among the speakers at the &amp;quot;Symposium: The Medical and Ecological Consequences of the Fukushima Nuclear Accident&amp;quot; were:

CINDY FOLKERS, Radiation and Health Specialist with Beyond Nuclear, who detailed &amp;quot;Post-Fukushima Food Monitoring&amp;quot;; and

Symposium convener Dr. HELEN CALDICOTT, the co-founder of Physicians for Social Responsibility, who culminated the conference with a keynote address on the hazards of nuclear power plant operations, medical consequences of radiation, and mainstream media negligence of nuclear dangers.
