Script/Transcript for program: the Other Side

"the Other Side" The last show for the year 2005 is a one hour special - starting at 12:00 noon till 1 pm Tuesday December 27th. The focus of "the Other Side" is to try and show how policies - be they made by, economists, corporations, or politicians - affect society. Although there are many stories of injustice by all three levels of Government; because of the coming Federal Election, and the Ipperwash inquiry finally wrapping up with Mike Harris, the last story of the year had to go to Ipperwash. I know that one hour may seem too long, but there is so much information, from so many interviews that it was hard to contain all of it into one hour. The story "One Dead Indian" by Peter Edwards (Toronto Star Reporter), has been adapted into a docu-drama for television. The movie by the same name airs on CTV - Wednesday January 4th 2006 at 8 pm. I encourage everyone to watch the movie. The end is amazing, so hang in for the whole show - in fact hang in for the whole radio show too, so you will have a better understanding of what the movie is trying to say. Credits: Interviews and audio footage will include, court transcripts, Andrew Orkin, Peter Edwards, Pierre George. with music by "Slang Blossom" - with "Possibly"... a great Rap song of inspiration. Hope you get a chance to tune in and I wish all of the show's listeners a Happy New Year. Prod.
