These new boards would be separate from, and presumably would be intended to replace, the existing local boards such as the one now being elected by KPFA's listener-sponsors. California nonprofits such as Pacifica are generally prohibited from conducting business in secret, and board member Tomas Moran revealed the plan in an interview with Dennis Bernstein on KPFA's Flashpoints program.
