Phil discusses various subjects, including Harry Belafonte, the election at the OFL, opposition to Canada's support for the coup in Bolivia at Durham Labour Council, and Syria's resistance to Washington's hegemony. The concept of 'humanitarian intervention' has endangered us all.

The rich and powerful tell us that we have to 'do something' in Syria and other places, and we are stampeded before there is a discussion. This is especially dangerous at a time when Canada is increasingly punching outside of its weight-class. The confrontation with China is a case-in-point.
