Wide-ranging interview with Carl Dix, national spokesman for the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA. This was inspired by the RCP's recent release of a draft CONSTITUTION For The New Socialist Republic In North America.
Carl Dix, Steve Cornie, and the entire staffs of Truth and Justice Radio and of WZBC
Carl Dix is a founding member of the Revolutionary Communist Party, USA. In 1970 he was one of the Fort Lewis Six, GIs who refused orders to go to Vietnam. He served two years in Fort Leavenworth on that account. In 1996 he was a founder of the October 22 Coalition to Stop Police Brutality, Repression and the Criminalization of a Generation. More recently, he has been publicizing the right of students to not fight in our wars.
We discuss the RCP's recently released draft of a new Socialist constitution, including what inspired it, and the ideas incorporated.
