ANGELA DAVIS, the former political prisoner and current distinguished professor of Consciousness and Feminism at the University of California, recently analyzed the current state of feminism, gender, repression, economics, race, prison, violence and human rights in the 21st Century. Prof Davis delivered her keynote address, recorded by Pacifica affiliate WZRD, before the Centers for the Study of Race, Politics, Culture, Gender and Sexuality at the University of Chicago.
