Editor of Frack News Frances Leader joins us from Devon where she works on keeping campaigners up-to-date on this earthquake causing, water table poisoning technology which threatens us all. She explains what fracking is, why it matters and how she believes every single pressure group and campaign shes ever been involved in has been infiltrated by varying numbers of five basic types of what she calls controlled opposition operatives. Namely 1, East German Stasi like Police Spies, hacking the lives of people who have not even broken the law, who are now being half-heartedly investigated by the Pitchford Enquiry; 2. Corporate Spies employed by the fossil fuel industry, private developers, road builders, the arms industry or whichever profit-makers are trying to destroy the planet; 3. Freeloaders who dont care about campaign issues but want free food and free accommodation; 4. sad lonely Hangers On who also dont care about the campaigns aims but just want some company and 5. Actors who usually turn up and leave with TV crews proceeding to deliberately act up in front of the cameras, to discredit the campaign.

Jon Hagadorn hosts the 1001 Heroes Podcast from the USA which explores controversial or otherwise interesting episodes in history. Tonight he talks about the infamous Market Garden operation of September 1944 when allied forces under General Montgomery attempted to liberate Holland from Nazi occupation and force an airborne and armoured corridor up to and over the River Rhine at Arnhem. The U.S. 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions excelled themselves but British airborne commander and ground contingent, Capt. Peter Carrington and XXX Corps General Brian Horrocks along with Airborne Corps General Fred Boy Browning, all appear to have failed to pursue their military objective, the Rhine crossing. Leaving the gallant 1st Airborne Colonel John Frosts battalion to die at Arnhem Bridge.
